for the last few weeks i hav been hearing voices from a man called jack who keeps on telling me to kill and eat my family and friends, also ive become very paranoid to the point that i think that the new peporami advert is encouraging me to kill and eat. I used to be very cheerful and happy but lately i have been having mood swings where i will be extremely happy one minute and depressed the next. my mom has been noticing this. i am 17 and been a good acheiver in exam etc. but lately i cant concentrate and hav failed my IT exam. there are many other things that i feel at the moment but i cant describe it.

wats your opinion do i hav schizophrenia. im so glad i got this off my chest. thanks

Do you have a history of mental health issues? The best place to get help for a diagnosis is see your doctor. Also, by the sounds of it you seem to be young, not being funny or anything, have you been doing any sort of drugs apart from medically prescribed or approved drugs?

I dont know anything about schizophrenia, but I think if I was having your experiences I would either go to the hopsital or see my doctor asap.
I often have pictures of myself doing things that makes me scared but I am under psychiatric care and I know that if things get out of control for me I can call the emergency team or go to the hospital.
You said you dont do drugs, just out of curiousity do you watch violent movies or violent computer games?
Hope you can get help.

My opinion.

You know, I felt I couldn't tell anyone because I was afraid of what they would say or do. It took me eight months to tell my mum about my hallucinations. I say tell someone, now, rather than later, because the sooner they can get it sorted, the better the outcome in the long run.
