Hi everyone. This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if Casinos were allowed to hire bipolar people? I do NOT have a gambling problem at all but I am on disability and looking for possible future careers. My boyfriend pays for most things but I live with my dad and tired of being dependent. I don't get much on disability. Wondering if persuing a career as a casino games dealer would be worth it? Does anyone here hold a job with bipolar disorder? Thanks!

Hiya

I held down a pressured job whilst bipolar and managed. Its all down to how stable you are. If you feel up to it, then go for it I would suggest. Don't let a diagnosis get in the way of living your life.

Just be aware of the temptations around you, as I know many of us have lost a lot of money gambling, and if you're going there every day for work it's making it so much easier to do something stupid without realizing it.

It mightn't be a healthy environment. Casino's are quite negative imo but if you don't think that's the case then give it a shot
