I seem to get more unwell when depressed, though have voices and see things when not depressed. Im diagnosed Schizophrenia and Depression but wonder if the two diagnoses should be combined. I know no one here can diagnose here, not sure what i want from this post, guess i just want others opinions.

I've often wondered if I am bipolar affective or actually schizo-affective. I find the boundaries between some diagnoses are actually a very fine, subtle line...

Its hard to say and like you said no one on here could diagnose you but I'm guessing the anti-psychotics have your voices under control yet the negative symptoms persist .Then the anti depressant has been brought in to combat that.
Confusing I know and its hard to tell weather you are suffering from side affects from the medication or if its your illness causing these things at times.
Its all a balancing act and finding the right balance. If medication is the way you want or need to go.

Personally I have tried nearly everything over the last 20 years and have given up and refuse to take psychiatric medications. While I may not be 100% I feel a lot better then I did while on medications and the confusion of weather its the side affects or the illness has been taken out of the picture.
I'm not saying you should stop your medications that is something you would have to talk to your doctor about and decide for yourself.

There are no easy solutions to these things I'm afraid and it takes time to find whats right for you.
Everyone is different and react differently to these drugs and have differing severeness of mental mental illness.

All I can say is I wish you all the best in finding what works for you

Neo-delta.

I should see your doctor or nurse again, aand ask their o;pinion. Sounds as though you may need some change in your medication.
Take care.
