I've been self harm free for a month now was asked by my roommates son what all the marks on my arms and hands were I naturally lied cause I didn't want him to know but my roommate says I did all this for attention I didn't do it for attention I now have to live with these scars and feel ashamed of what I did to my body made me really depressed but instead of self harming I actually used my coping skills I'm proud of myself but ashamed the thought was there

Scooter you have nothing to be ashamed of. The thought will come back from time to time. Do not be ashamed when this happens but be proud of how far you have come.
