Of course, this is directed at those who don’t mind sharing. What caused you to be hospitalised? Was it always when psychotic, or before those features started showing? Can you be hospitalised before psychosis starts setting in? If so, what sorts of things can lead you to be hospitalised instead of psychosis?

I was hospitalised after a severe bout of depression which lead to me taking an overdose which landed me in intensive care for 10 days nearly dying. I am pleased that I didn't die now, I have so much to live for with my two grandchildren and lovely family.

Are you worried about yourself? Its quite hard to get hospitalised as there just aren't enough beds around. I doubt they would for psychosis on its own unless you are a danger to yourself or others.
