Why is it so bad at night

I can lie to
Myself during the day and pretend my life will eventually be ok.
I know that it wont
But I limp through each day

but why are nights so bad? It’s like a movie where you lie awake with a reaper in a dark corner of your room. Any thoughts of hope he takes as soon as they happen

I dunno. I guess many of us have times of day that are often up or down. I was curious about this. The past few months I've been waking up early and I'm not a morning person at all, don't like doing anything before noon. So I guess mornings are my down time of day. Is there any way to make your nights a little better? Some activity you enjoy?

I’m close to being almost completely removed now from what lies ahead of me
I feel giving up would be better than all this worry and sick feeling

I can deal with feeling like a loser during the day
Night is pretty fucking bad

Maybe it's easier during the day because there are things to do and people to talk to. At night, you're all alone with your thoughts. It's tough.

I'm sorry you're feeling so down.
I have a stupid answer to your question: we feel worse at night because there's very little serotonin in our brains at night. Serotonin is what makes you feel good.
I know this probably doesn't help, but for me, realising it's a chemical thing makes me less anxious about it.
