Why do I get marks all over part of my body following self harm?

In the past when I have self harmed, I always end up with marks on part of my body that are unusual. I rarely get spots other than from this. It really confuses me because it happens every time but when I google it, I can’t find anything about it.

It’s probably a reaction to what you’ve done. It’s not always just the part it was done to. Any kind of trauma can affect other parts of your body.
