....endless welfare is now an illusion...........

Probably Not.

If you've got an interest in the treatment and care of those with Mental Illness for instance that's bound to get you thinking about certain areas of Politics and inevitably come to conclusions on it meaning you take certain sides.
..that would appear for many to be the case. But having worked many years ago within the NHS, and having a child who is a Doctor (who is also apolitical), we have both realised that engaging in politics effectively changes nothing. The history of the NHS since its inception is littered with political change and interference, from all parties, but for the people working at the coal-face, politics does not intermingle with care.

Personally I am very grateful for the UK NHS and the benefits it provides, but that does not make me want to rush out and vote for a particular political party.... many of whom enjoy Private Health treatment...

'it's bound to get you thinking about certain areas of politics'. No, politics does nothing for me...apart from the entertainment involved in watching 'PM Question Time' on a Wednesday..

Now treatments, medications, other peoples ideas and thoughts on areas of Mental Health are what drew me to the forum. 'There is wisdom in a multitude of counsellors', and in my short relationship with this forum..that's what I am finding..I hope you do to...

Best wishes,

Ok whatever............

You sound like me old man which probably means it's best if we don't react to each other's posts.

ie//Oneupmanship.

Like I said just like me old man.

And like I said Let's from now on stop replying to each other's posts.

I annoy you obviously, and as a result you annoy me.

Let that be an end to it.

You can help people you deem worthy of it and I'll try and do the same.
