Between a normal and disordered personality? How do you distinguish without getting into the realms of subjectivity and clinician bias? Why does personality disorder so often equate to " The pdoc didn't like me " or " He/she must be personality disordered because the pills didn't work enough"

Personally I am very cynical about the whole idea of a 'personality disorder'.
To me it just doesn't make any sense and unfortunately I do think a lot of cases are a matter of the doctor not liking you or you not taking well to the pills. :unsure:

Apparently the DSM is an authority on normal and abnormal human behaviour give the psychiatrists something to model there bullshut profession on.
