When you feel like you're about to break

I've been keeping up pretty well, just feel like I'm about to break because everything is going so well.

But I'm fighting that thing in my head that's telling me "You're a screw up, you're a 'bpd' (quote un quote the label) victim, you'll never be normal or healthy" "you're about to go into suicidal mode".
I'm fighting that so hard. I don't think I've ever fought the thought so much.

I feel like I'm about to break because I know there's always residual signs, in my body language, that normal people can pick up when they're like 'are you alright?' as if there's something wrong with me.

I've got to keep up the act of being 'normal' of being 'stable', even though I feel like something is going to break. I'm not going to let it break though. I can be stable. I can live my life. I don't have to be a victim to anything. I'm not going to break. I'm not going to fall back into being a victim.

Dewey you are doing so well even recognising your thoughts. This wave of emotion will pass, and if you can recognise your thoughts, the emotions you feel and the bodily symptoms they bring, eventually they will subside.
Deep breaths, think of the two extremes of the emotional scale and try to visualise yourself being pulled back into the middle. You are not a victim you are just you.

Ive been fighting my thoughts with affirmations
ever since hospital , which is my way of dealing with it

its been a really uphill struggle
with the thoughts
the emotions I'm more ' riding them out '
at least the ones I can face in that moment

currently I'm fighting a monster called resentment !
I had a really good day after I fought it

The more you ‘ride them out’ the more you realise that no matter how painful, all thoughts and feelings will pass in time. Well done you.

@dewey, I just read your first post asbout never being normal. I'll let you in on a secret, no f**ker is normal, the whole planet is full of crazy screwed up monkeys - do you think Boris Johnson or Donald Trunp are normal? No f**king way and look at the power they wield. Your just you, relax, let the feelings go and they pass on there own merry way - like clouds on the wind that momentarily dull the beauty of the clear blue sky.

I'm not sure I'll ever see a clear blue sky 🤣 but I'll bear it in mind.
Yeah, I often think the world is full of crazy people but then there are so many people that act like they have it all together, and like they're so unbreakable. There are people who are very good at never showing a single sign of weakness. A lot of people don't realise their own issues. They think they are so fine.
