I do my best creative writing when I am depressed, and it makes me reach out to others more as well.

Must admit I can’t think of any. Grateful when it’s over. But then it comes back :(

I can empathise so much. I don’t judge, I have like a sixth sense with situations, I know when something is wrong or not right.

Depression has caused me to question what I am thinking about so I can identify negative thought patterns and turn from them because they only drive me deeper down. It has also shown me the value of loving myself correctly so I can love others.

Hi bender1,

What a great question! I've definitely changed a lot between pre-depression and post-depression, and reaching the depth of my depression certainly sparked a huge change for me. I'd say that I'm much more caring and understanding of others, and more appreciative of everything in general. I think that it also helps you to understand yourself better, and become more in-tune with your feelings!x

Much love <3
