did you see a benefits adviser from the Citizens Advice Bureau

if you need help you should qualify for PIP
maybe after you get your diagnosis

@Zoe1 I have a diagnosis when I was 17 from a phycasiatrist which was serve depression and anxiety ocpd. But that was 10 years ago mental health has changed and gotten much much worse so hopefully if I get a diagnosis hopefully that would help with benefits as living on £140 a fortnight

wow, well that is something to remember to tell the psychiatrist as well
that you are living in hardship

also if you tell them that you want to claim PIP
so you can buy in your choice of help
they might be prepared to write a letter for you

yes and give him your best attempt to communicate

my psychiatrist has improved over the years
because I won't let him be ... not sure how to explain it ,
I won't let him boss me

If your pip claim is unsuccessful, you can appeal the decision. Their decision is not final, many successful claims were rejected at first.

2/3 cases are accepted if they go to tribunal. The whole system is flawed and they will try to catch you out.
If it will improve your life then dont give up, you are entitled to it as much as any mh sufferer

I have been living off 140 a fortnight now for over a year sense I relapsed and went sick from a van driving job. I definitely gonna reapply for it.

It can take along time. Would be wise to speak with citizens advice through your doctor. They can help you fill out the form. Its ill advised to do it on your own
