What time at do i take my Olanzapine(Zyprexa) at?

Hi. This morning i picked up 10mg and 5mg tablets of Zyprexa. I have to take both of them at night. I want to take them properly so what time at night should i take them?Do i take them just as im going to bed? Plus will they work right away and how will they make me feel?Thank you

They just put at night as it's different for everyone. Some people feel an effect quicker than others. When I was on olanzapine I used to take it about half an hour to an hour before bed, but it didn't have a great sedative effect for me, but it did seem to clear my mind.

Last time I was on these I took them an hour before bed and this seemed to be ok. The worst effect for me was in the morning, it was like I was coming out of a coma, Horrible! But, as the weeks went on the sedative effect reduced and I was ok. Not taking it now though.
