What if Schizophrenics are not crazy?

I tried my hardest to convince other people that what I was experiencing was real, but that just led to more hospital and more drugs. I even got so bad they locked me in a forensic ward for a few days so I could calm down as I wasn't having any of it.

To be honest, I no longer have the fight left in me to indulge in delusional thinking - even if it's real.

I have made a conscious decision that I will wait till I die to see if it was all real or not. I smoke so much that won't be long hopefully.

None of the Schizophrenics mind set is valued in this world. Once Shamans used to be important members of the community, but in this age we're medicated and swept under the carpet.

The truth hurts other people who cannot comprehend it.

I think we should medicate religious people instead, as they're worse than Schizos.

What are you believing in? Did it help in your life somehow? Beside waiting to see if it was real, what do you do in the meantime?

This is why I like keeping my delusions to myself (except here online). Expressing them just makes people think you are absolutely bonkers. And they don't understand it because they don't go through what you experience constantly.

But having delusions allows you to live “normally”? Do they keep your thinking stuck on them for a while? Do they make you very afraid so you panic?

What do you mean by figuring it out on your own? Like coping with the effects or ? I am thinking that in such a situation (being delusional and paranoid) you need all the help you can get, but of course it would be empowering to manage it by yourself

I mean being a bit of a detective and try to find the truth to the delusions I have.

Ah, so you are challenging those thoughts and eventually find another explanation than the one that creates anxiety?

Ok, it’s great that you can do this. Do you feel that if you do this often it gets easier next time when facing a delusion?

It's used to gain more information. By roughly deducing the timeline and their routine, you can get a vague idea of what he or she does during the day. It's not perfect, but if you use it as supplementary evidence you can find out more about the voices.
So timelines and routines are the supplementary evidence, what else would be evidence? The other 2 ways to gain information on the voices, you posted in your opening post are the other evidence?

I thought this was an interesting video about telepathy, even if I don't agree about some things he said:

Hey , if you do believe its someone else you're hearing the best way to figure out is the ask outright. "Do you hear voices?""Are you telepathic?" I've done this and it usually debunks it , occasionally and sometimes it confirms it.
