hi what happens if your sectioned i have serious issues with being giving pills never been sectioned before but the way my life is right now its a matter of time i think. i would never wanna hurt any nurses but if i was forced medication i would really kick off and i have serious violent thoughts that have never came out YET. but to me being forced medication would be like rape there is no way that shit is happening. can you you refuse or are when your sectioned your litrally a human guinea pig for their new poisons?

Hi,
If you are put on a section three, they can force medications on you. It's horrible.
It's best to co-operate before your put on a section.
Take care

thank you for letting me know. if i end up this way i will remember, will take at least 6 people to hold me down those pills are poison to me i really dont trust anything from doctors why do these people think a pill will fix you. they have barely scratched the surface of the human brain and really have no clue what they are doing..

I largely agree with you about the meds tbh but please be careful! If you react violently they will drug you up to the eyeballs and prob then put you on a cto and keep forcing the injections on you. They have all the power in this scenario. Best to try and fly under the radar imo

what the hell is wrong with this world these doctors beleive a pill / injection solves everything i have had numerous pills for anxiety etc and had zero good from them but tons of bad sides. and i see others saying they have been on meds for 10 plus years and still feel like crap and wanna just finish themselves. aint it about time drugs are done away with or is it that big pharma are making a ton on people with anxiety etc i do admit i have seen certain drugs work well for people with schizphrenia etc etc but for anxiety i struggle to see the benifits or id happily take em

Have you got support form a mental health team at the moment? Therapy? Maybe you can get more support so that you wont be sectioned.
Why do you think you will be sectioned?

because i got pulled in for a ESA medical and then put on the wrag group working life is what absolutely ruined me. if i am forced back into zero hour contracts temp jobs or training courses that dont actually teach you anything i will crack again. i cannot handle that. dont even see the point in waking up these days. before the esa medical i was on 125 a week not a lot but i could survive on that im now on 85 a week and struggling with everything just like before whilst i see people going working on the side 12 hour night shifts claiming everything including mobilty cars and generally ripping it. the only thing that was keeping me safe was where i was ;( yes i have got a cpn too not for much longer i think though

Are you allowed to have a patient advocate or legal support? I would try to view yourself as a monk and play the game and persevere. If they force any medications on you try your hardest to accept it and play along. I know the thought is infuriating but if you can manage to focus your thoughts on survival rather than how wrong it is then you might suffer less and get out sooner. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

Hi I was sectioned a while ago medication cannot be forced on you unless a order from the courts is bound.

From what I understand you can't be forced medication on a Section 2 as this is an assessment section. You can be forced medication for 3 months on a Section 3 as this is a treatment section (then you can get a second opinion from a different doctor about them), but a section 3 can also be blocked by your Nearest Relative (this is a legal term used in the Mental Health Act, and not necessarily the same person as your Next of Kin). A section 2 cannot be blocked by your nearest relative.

I recently almost got put on a Section 3, but my mum blocked it as she is my Nearest Relative. I have multiple issues with medication, so am currently unmedicated.
