It is thought that psychosis occurs when chemicals form in the brain while we're alive
This is thought because they can find no chemicals in the blood in living people
And they can find no chemicals in the brain of deceased people

I was wondering if the chemicals formed in the brain were other drugs ?

Absolutely nothing - this stuff is as mysterious as it always has been.

So they introduce drugs into the bloodstream, Oraly or by injection which stop the symptoms..

I often go to bed in the daytime and i'm trying to think of nothing

Because medication makes thinking exhausting and miserable

Nobody knows the facts, i personally think its a disease of the brain or illness rather but i dont think its neurodegenerative everybodys individual experiences are different no one person is affected the same...i think the drugs supress the symptoms but shut down parts of the brain you need and affect ur memory and personailty...having said that the prognosis tends to be the same no matter how high functioning u was before u seem to get worse as time goes on some people say the drugs made them worse others think they helped...i think ur brain kinda mutates when u take the neuropletics and its better to just keep taking them from the moment u first go on them and avoid relapses so in a way if u catch it early learn to live feeling like a zombie on ur meds thats usually the best thing to do..so basically yh the doctors know best lol... my arguement against it being neurodegenerative disease is ive heard storys of people living on the streets for like 20 years as schizophrenics who when then given antipsychotics for the first time made a good recovery that and people like john nash.

Causes.

They are beginning by research to find the caues in America. it is the structure of the brain cells and transmission of fluids between them. But that is a very simplistic answer, The medication helpss so many people to live a reasonable quaality of life. There must be trust between the patient and the specialist and other professionals. Also trust in the family and friends. One must accept that there si something wrong, and try to get it put right. Everyone is different, and different medications suit different people.
