This may sound strange but well we're on a mental health forum.
When one hears voices when one is talking to someone.
It's damned annoying and confusing.
They say to do things and I'm just trying to follow a conversation.
I feel I'm mad.
I'm tired of it. I've been told I'm not schizophrenic. Are they mad?
I'm sounding like a loon, I know. If anyone has input, thanks.

When I started to hear voices my diagnosis was changed from "Stress-induced psychosis" to "Schizophrenia."

Hearing voices is a major symptom of Schizophrenia but not the only one.

How is your concentration and memory ?

If these are getting worse than that also points to Schizophrenia. However, I'm no Doctor but I'm well versed with my illness. However I'm not too knowledgeable about the other illnesses and don't know if hearing voices are present in them or not.

My voices consist of either a running commentary on what I'm doing/ thinking or imagining what other people are saying ( like the neighbours ). They never tell me to do anything though.
