Ways to get a diagnosis?

I'm really starting to struggle as I cannot figure out what is wrong with me.

Any online test (ik they're not accurate) points to a high risk of whatever mental illness I'm testing for (BPD, schizoaffective disorder, anxiety, phobias, etc). Like really high risk usually. But I am always missing the defining symptom of said mental illness. So if I do a test to find out what it is, it comes back with a really long list of what it could be?

So then I wonder, am I answering these questions based on what I think of myself rather than how I actually am? Then I get flustered because I really don't know anything about myself, and it's so confusing trying to remember things. So even if I was going to go to the doctors at this point, would it even help?

Can someone please please please point out an alternative to going to the doctors? I don't want to go and embarrass myself in front of parents if nothing is wrong. I tend to go through obsessions, where I can't stop thinking about sometimes for a month or two, then forget about it. What if this is that? Is there someone online who i can talk to and answer questions to get a diagnosis. I just want to know why/if I'm not normal, I'm really losing it right now.

I'd be wary of going online and using a service that offers you a diagnosis.
Are you in the UK? I presume you are but just want to check?
I can understand you being worried about having a doctors appointment with your parents there.
What I would say is that there is no way to get an official diagnosis without seeing a medical specialist.
I'm sorry if that's disappointing to you, but that's the way things are.
Can you not have a doctor's appointment without your parents there?
