I mostly get waves of depression. Like it will come out of nowhere and idk how to deal with it. I usually take my ativan to calm down and it helps, but idk why it comes at all and it worries me. It's tough to get out of. Does anyone else experience this and what do you do to help yourself?

I do experience the same, and it is terrible. I take Xanax sometimes and it also helps, however, I cannot rely upon it all the time. Otherwise, I would be taking it too frequently and become totally dependent upon it. Sometimes I just have to wait it out, and it is terrible. I think it is due to mood swings caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. It happens to me also, and it is really miserable.

I have mood swings rather than waves of depression but I know it must be awful to feel that way
I hope the forum can help you feel less alone with your difficulties
lots of love Lu xxx
