so I have spoken about the dog on one side of me
and on the other side is a young couple with a little boy
I have complained about their war games before
because it was going on really loud for 3 or 4 hours a night

they have been quiet for a while
then the other night half an hour of war games at 10 pm

and now there is one starting up

about 6 pm I recorded a song to go up on social media
which takes me between 10 minutes to half an hour
it would have been audible but not really loud
and I stopped using a base line
because it triggers these noises from the young neighbours
either putting their tv on really loud or the war games
and the war games are the worst,
to hear shooting and screaming for a long time is really difficult

and I dread having to go round there to complain
depends how long it goes on for I suppose

thankyou Magical fairy

my stepmother told me to log it
and wait until it builds up some more
then I can complain to the landlord

im also hearing alot of swearing and slamming doors
which makes me afraid to go round there

I wonder what his partner thinks about the war games
does she want her 6 year old doing that all evening ?

@Zoe1 your best bet is to record it and report them if it carries on because excessive noise can drive you daft..my first flat I lived in my neighbour up stairs had a pool table in the bedroom all night balls constantly dropping, then the tele loud, in the I played him at his own games and my tele went sky high or music and a few months down the line he was took into a mental hospital.

I don't like how it sent him but when neighbours can't be curteous it's a bad lot in life.

k well I hope they treated him well in hospital

im also hoping that my neighbours partner
is secretly pleased that I complained about the war games,
I mean who wants to listen to that for 4 hours ?

Zoe as ive got older and only being with my hubby and never having no children myself, when noise does appear it's  and my head can't cope, I could roughly do an hour but over that it would do my head in, so 4hrs of it

Well you've mentioned it in the past and if it's totally ignored plus at a stupid extreme noise what do they expect.

thankyou, yes I suppose having children around
would make you more used to noise

I think maybe its like they think I'm just a woman on her own
and I dont count
whereas if I were in a couple, they would be more respectful

i can understand about noisy neighbours, mine on one side regularly shout and yell and scream (single mum with kids), cause its daytime they do it i just let them get on with it and go out to work, my girlies are used to it so they are just like "oh ok its then making a noise again" :grouphug:

if it was stressing my girlies out then i would have a quiet word with them but cause my girlies couldnt give a flying crap about them making that noise i just let them get on with it :grouphug:

if I still had Ebony then i might of had to have a word with them, Ebony got stressed when the dog the previous neighbours had started barking but i never spoke to those neighbours they was nasty so i couldnt

it was borderline though cause Ebony's stress would cause asthma flare ups :sorry:

yes my neighbours are sometimes nasty when ive tried to speak to them about it
I cant listen to a dog barking all evening, or a war game
its triggering for my illness

if I think they are going to be nasty
I will consult someone like my stepmother
and write a nice polite letter about it

sorry you lost Ebony

the only "complaint" my girlies have about those neighbours is their cat keeps coming into Willow and Tigger's garden and yard and Willow attacks him/her (Willow can get nasty towards that particular cat, all other non_Tigger cats she just chases away but that particular one she attacks nastily)

yes cats will do that, I have cats that visit my garden
looking for frogs and mice

there was a really lovely one that was friendly to me
when I was upset
and I saw him one day confronting another cat
because he saw my garden as his territory

he was yelling at the other cat
and then he turned round and saw I was there,
changed his expression, gave me really cute little miaow

and then went back to fighting the other cat !

chased it down the road
and came back a few minutes later
with bits of ginger fur in his teeth !

yeah Tigger just looks at other cats like "oh ok you are in my garden help yourself to resources" she just does not have it in her to chase other cats away, in fact often she invites them back

Willow's like "there's a WHAT in my garden/yard????????? DIEEEEEEEE" *screams in anger and jumps on the other cat and beats the crap out of him or her* only ever next door's cat though, all other neighbourhood cats realise they have got to stay away from Willow or risk getting shredded :panic:
