I don't know if im depressed or not but i don't feel depressed. Actually things are going quite well but i want to die anyway and cant figure out why. I think about dying every day and even ways to do it bit i doubt id act on them even though i do have 3 suicide attempts in my past. I just cant figure out what is going on and why i want to die so badly. Anyone relate. I've had a hard life and im just so tired of living and struggling.

Hi Floridasteve78, sadly with us all our lives have been hard as hell and we can't see a way to even get better but we can try and help our selfs by pushing and motivating to do something different in our lifes. I don't think about suicide at all now really, but everyday I get a thought I should self harm but I can control those thoughts now and not act on them at all plus this forum is such a great help to me as well. Have you spoken to your doctor how you are feeling at all as they can help you too.

Hi Florida Steve 78
I've just joined and sorry to read a post such as yours..please stay with the forum and between us all out here we will try to assist you. We have lived through unprecedented times as s result of COVID with its restrictions isolation from family and friends especially for those suffering mentally from not being able to have said goodbye to their loved ones.
I think we are all reappraising our lifestyles at present. Sounds futile..why not start a diary and keep a record of your thoughts. Then if you feel you can seek help it may assist your health care provider .
Best wishes for you to return to good health

Hey, I’m sorry to hear you feel like this. Have you been stressed out recently? This can trigger this feeling.
