They steer my thoughts onto nasty subjects. Then they start leading my inner voice to complete sentences of theirs. Which are nasty and disgusting. They want me to take ownership of their leading commentary. I'm sick of it. Now they are repeating the music I'm listening to at a slight delay so it sounds like an echo in my head. Why don't they just STF up and leave me alone!

Hi Funnyday I am sorry you are going through this right now. My voices come and go they never last for more than 5 minutes. Are you on medications? When I was on meds I did not have a problem but now I am getting off the meds and it is all coming back. I hope the voices do not last that long. Love and hugs Jules

Mine does that a lot, sings all the time and will often get a song in his head for days if not weeks where he sings it over and over, not caring if he even gets the words right.

Thankfully medication reduces the volume of his voice by around 95% so I can easily ignore him and get on with my day but it's still annoying.

And my voice has the gall to say "leave me alone" every so often where in reality he should be the one leaving me alone if he ever wants to be spoken to ever again. He also says things like "it's not fair", "come on" and "you can't do this to me" at regular intervals, I think he's talking about medication aswell as me ignoring him but I'll never come off medication as long as I live. I will however talk to him again if he can give me a little silence when I need it but he just plain refuses to shut up for anything.

Before medication he had this strange ability to say what the TV or radio was saying as they were saying it, he was in perfect sync like he knew the script so I believe the part of the brain in which he resides is faster at processing sound than my part of the brain.

Hi Funnyday,

Sounds to me like you need to have your dose increased pretty much more higher, or better still, make a GP booking, and seek a referral for Community Mental Health Team, to be assessed further, and maybe they could then write you up something different.

Must admit, I have been on Abilify, shan't disclose the resumed dose again, and the dose I am on resumed is a far better dose, from 2012, call it, when a pshychartrist then, increased it to 25ml rats, I slipped my dose, complimentary laughing, on a serious note, from 20ml, even in those and earlier years, 5-10 ml just weren't working, 25ml does a brilliant and fantastic job, allowing for, any external voices paranoia wise, I might have to suffer with, and when very tired, or stressed, and the voices can filter through easily.

I would make a booking to the GP, or contact crisis team, attached cmht, and they can then hopefully point you forward in the right direction.

Best Wishes.
