He has been there for 6 months. I was surprised.

He is schizophrenic. He gets confused. He is on different meds again. Sodium Valproate.

We wanted to go for a coffee but he was not allowed without a member of staff.

The ward was high security with two locked doors.

I like it there because there were fellow sufferers.

I am a lucky one of course, but it is nice to see them.

That was nice of you, I certainly appreciated my family and friends visiting me every day when I was on a ward, luckily only for nine days.

They brought me extra food. :D

I guess it is a nice break for his family. But yeah 6 months surprised me. He appeared a little confused tho.

Next time I will bring him donuts.

My sister is a paranoid schizophrenic so I know it can be very difficult. If he’s no harm to others or himself until he stabilises that’s a good thing. Well done for going to see him, it’s a really nice thing to do.

I am going to see Dad again tomorrow, so will probably visit the mental health ward again. I said I will bring some donuts for my pal, and his mates.
