Hi everyone, I'm really depressed I'm tired and just want to sleep. I feel like I want to cry but I'm trying not to. If I just had family support, if my parents were still here, if my friend had not died, if if if if.... I'm alone and nothing or me changes. When I wake up there's nothing to look forward to. I'm thankful for this forum and all of you.

I'm sorry you feel so low at the moment. I know the feeling of wanting to cry but refusing to and having nothing to look forward to. I hope you get some support, even if it is our words on a forum.
We have to be in this together.

Yes, hang in there. Those feelings of being alone are scary and I'm sorry. Can't remember the last time I really looked forward to something, WTF? I hear you. It's been a long day. Feel better.

I think if you want to cry, let it out. I feel like it's healthy to release what we're holding on to. You can pull through this, and you can find things to wake up for. Just do not lose hope. I wish I could say something extraordinary to stop you feeling this way, but I am happy that you have these forums to turn to.

I agree with miss_sensitivity that you should cry if you have to, it is a healthy coping mechanism and relieves the body of stress. I also have anhedonia (inability to feel pleasure). Therefore I have nothing to look forward to and just waste away joylessly behind my computer. There are however some medications and supplements you can try for anhedonia like MAOIs and Wellbutrin. You might want to discuss that with your psychiatrist if you have no other way out.

Do you meditation? This is one thung which will definutwly help
It takes up to two months to have a real positive effect but is helping me cope with a dteadful situafion
Juat five minutes to start with
Do guided meditation first
