I sprained my ankle while running yesterday so now ive ruined my only healthy outlet for my anxiety :((( The rest time for sprains is wayy long and i was really enjoying running every other day.

You can still run,
it will sound stupid at first
But if you give it a try
you will be surprised

You can practice visualization
relax in a chair or bed (high chance of falling asleep).. You can practice relaxation techniques such as inhale-exhale stress release.. Then once you are in a relaxed state, you need to visualize you are running.. Conjure up the multi-sensory memories of it, how it feels, feel everything.. At first you will prolly feel stupid, but you wouldnt believe how real it will get once you get a hang of it.
