I came off it slowly, I did have withdrawal effects, but they were not that bad.

I came off it the wrong way. Not to be recommended. It is said it is quite a hard one to come down from but everyone's body chemistry is that little bit different - as is their support system and situation.

I'm on 37.5 which have 3 mini tabs inside. I have been minus one tab for about a month but the"brain zaps" are too much. I think I will be stuck on this drug for ever

maybe you can try half a tablet removed or a quarter using a pill cutter.

I understand the the XR is compromised once cut or crushed

I thought the capsule was the extended release bit but I could be wrong.

also you can also get a version with tiny balls in them instead of mini tablets which you could weight out.

As I understand it the capsule is not part of the XR but just holds the tabs which contain the XR. I get my prescription from my GP and do not think they would agree to a change plus can't afford to buy specialist scales
