My surgery is on special measures because of incompetence. For the third time I have been left without Venlafaxine for 3/4 days because they take about 8 days to process the prescription. Sudden withdrawal has led me to not being able to get out of bed and suicidal thoughts. Complaints just get deleted and other surgeries are not taking on new patients. I do everything my end to make sure I get my prescription and it is solely down to the doctor that am going through withdrawal on a regular basis.

Do you think I would have a claim if I tried to sue them for negligence? The NHS in the UK is on the verge of collapse because they want to privatise the whole system. Meanwhile we suffer. What about people who can't complain for themselves. I suppose they just want them to go and commit suicide. It's only my anger that keeps me going. What would you do?

Hi Barmcake,This shouldn't be happening.Go and see your doctor and explain how much you are suffering because of this problem, maybe between you you can work out a way to stop it happening all the time?
I don't think trying to sue them will work or get you any compensation, but it is your choice but trying to resolve the problem with them is a better solution don't you think?
