I strongly feel your depression needs treating though. Alcohol will stop any medication working well, plus it is a depressant itself.

Some people say our life prepares us for a special job we have to do.

It could be that our experiences give us the ability to do good things and help others. When well :)

Maybe you are meant to write a book about your experiences.

I have read so many books by people with all different mental health illnesses and i think during the first years of recovery, they were a comfort and help.

Do you read at the moment?

I'm sorry, i am writing so much nonsence. All i can think is that you need medication to make you SLEEP.

Sleep is the way out, by medication that your psychiatrist gives you.

Please call them :(
Please tell them everything that has been going on
Maybe there is a new psychiatrist now, they are always rotating aren't they.

I know, you want this hell over.
I did too, for a long time also, like i assume you have done.
It sounds like it has really worn you down.

Covid hasn't helped as i can imagine all of the groups you could go to are closed or limited.
The mental health services too must be so limited compared to usual.

Sleep is a way to keep safe until you feel stronger.
You have to wait until it is your time and you must die naturally when older. You cannot do anything to risk premature death. It is just one of those rules.

Well done for making it through another day.

I hope you are now getting ready for bed if you do not need to call 999, i don't know if you have taken anything that could risk your life in your sleep.

If you haven't eaten, you should get something now and a cup of tea. Shower and get washed for sleep. Maybe you could read or read the forum posts and get to know your new mates a bit more :)

Please stay safe.
