i REALLY HOPE THIS THREAD IS ok

no details I promise........

I've been in and out of many relationships with women now over a 30 year period... all failed apart from about 3 really good friendships...

i'm current;y single and think this is a good place for me, i'm not happy but my head is fucked..

I have found out that a good friend of mine was raped when she was younger.. i'm gutted. for her.. but also for me. every woman i have know on a more personal level or as good frinds bar one has been raped.

is this really that bad in the UK?

if i do it as a percentage its 90% (more) I am shocked and very sad at these facts...

Yes , unfortunately, it’s that common.

So sorry for you and your friends.
I think rape as defined as someone having sex when they don't want to (rather than the'traditional' idea of rape - violent sexual assault in a dark alley) is probably more common than most of us realise. Very sad but I think we're at a point of change (hopefully).
