So my facial motor tic got much worse last year, I think due to the neuroleptics I was trying, so much so that I made a neurologist appointment to try to get botox (which is fda approved for facial tics), but I don't think insurance will cover it, so I looked for an alternative.

I found argireline 20% topical otc cosmetic ingredient, developed as a new 'botox alternative.'

To my surprise, there was a noticeable instant relaxation of my forehead and facial muscles around my eyes upon application- this stuff actually works. Reduced my tic 75-90% the past 3 weeks. Worth a shot for any tic sufferers. I used IQ Naturals 20% argireline from amazon, 25$.
