Well folks, the day is upon us. I'm leaving home in approximately an hour to attend the ceremony. A lot of hard work and tears went into doing this course and I graduate today with the high grade... high distinctions.
I'm very nervous as I keep running through scenarios in my head. For instance, what if the gown and cap don't fit (which is kinda dumb as I had a fitting a month or so ago) and what happens if I make a fool of myself? Very jittery and calming myself down with music blasting through my headphones.

Well, I'd better go and get ready....

i remember when i graduated i didn't know then that though i completed the degree theres plenty of mentally ill people who break down at uni get given agreggate degrees and say they've got degrees, employers assumption if i say i have a degree

then theres the whole thing about mental illlness been the mind innit, and the contradictions, it's held against you by employers and if your therefore have to claim benefits the clarks hold the degree against you

Thanks everyone!!! It was a long night and didn't get home until very late. My gown was miles too big and kept sliding off and my cap was too small it turned out hahahaha! But it was okay, my part of the graduation was over so quickly. It was literally they called my name and I walked on stage, received my award, then shook hands and was congratulated, then exited stage right. Over in ten seconds!
Next in my educational journey is a Diploma of Youth Work followed by a Bachelor of Human Services.
