I had a thought about sometimes I want some me time like a break from the relationship, I’m scared that means I shouldn’t be with my boyfriend. I have ocd and ROCD. IS it normal in a relationship to want some time to myself? Also sometimes I would think o I’d like to go out with this person, but I know I still want to be with my boyfriend. Is this at all normal in a relationship to think this stuff? Does that mean I can’t be with my boyfriend? I’m scared, because I want to stay with him, I want to marry him someday. What are you thoughts?

There is nothing wrong with "me time" in a relationship. IN fact I would go so far as to say its essential. I was married 29 years (with him for 31) before he died, and we both had time away from each other at times. I don't mean separated or anything, just i went to things that interested me and he did his thing.
