The thought of the forum has helped me through a difficult hour.

Thinking positive about having a forum to help me helped so much, even when I wasn't posting.

Nor did I need any negative male that's lead me on, a negative friend that's a user, a waste of space family member that brings so much shite to their life and then has the balls to huge my life. This forum helped me, and I helped me by using my own resources.

I am thankful that I am not giving these arseholes the chance to help me and maybe gain some useful skills for themselves.

Sorry about the bad language.

Thanks Hicks.

I'm just so pleased to have helped myself.

I don't have any family support, children or a nice partner. I need something to rely on and the forum has helped. Hopefully I can give something back by sharing my success.

I told a cousin once about my anxiety but he wasn't really interested. I only tell the forum about my experiences as I don't trust anyone other than my counsellor.

Thanks. I've just had enough of negative people. I can't cope with negative stuff very well.

Hi Fancyharm,

I am glad, that we have in some big way inspired you. I have several issues anxiety, hearing voices, and silient or noisy paranoia, i always found registered and logging on to here, destressing, and most helpful for if i needed the extra support on occasions.

i can see your with a counsellor, have you considered seeing a GP, or contact crisis team under cmht, units, for medication, sounds like you could do with med for anxiety as a extra help and support in that context, though I can understand it, in terms of negetativity though, in your household. So that might be an area med wise, you would need to think, long and hard about.

Or, contact the samaritans, or rethink, for advice, you can only call or email rethink, in the week, not over a weekend. This is where the samaritans might be beneficial to you.

Best Wishes.

I take floxetine but I am not adding any meds. I just use alternative methods such as relaxation and positive affirmations, replacement thoughts.

I am doing well all things considered.

I know what you mean by meds, but I'm no way taking meds for what is other people's rubbish being dumped onto me.

Thank you xx I appreciate it. I am determined to get through using alternative means. I already take meds, I just don't want to take more. Nothing against anyone that does.

Just two more weeks to wait until I get my artificial eye, then I can start looking for a job.

Thanks to all for the support xx❤🤜❤

This forum helps me a lot too. I try to come here before I react in real life. It takes the edge off to speak with people who understand.
