Told my therapist about feeling like I don't want to eat.. I wish I never did..

Now she is going to pressure me to eat and taking notes about what I eat.. 😟

Why couldn't I just shut up for once..

Has she done this already then or are you just afraid that is what she will do? I think you can make it clear that you don't want your therapy to go that way and want to talk about other things which might get to the root of your problems.

I'm afraid she will.. and I know it's a big problem but I don't want them to focus on that.. I need help with sh first.. and my problems..

Hi Justafriend95. My psychiatrist put me on remron a medication that increases my appetite and helps immensely With insomnia. Before the medication I lost a lot of weight within a few months. Remron definitely increased my appetite.

I know about self harm. Why we do this to ourselves and beyond my understanding. I hope therapy goes well for you Love and hugs Jules

Write it down and hand her the note saying clearly that you want to talk about the self harm mainly and not the eating. Tell her that you are willing to discuss the eating later but your priority is the self harming. I say write it and hand it to her as sometimes its hard to say things.

Hi there, I'm new to this forum. I haven't heard of remron. I posted earlier that I am recovering from anorexia and have been recovering for quite some time, but due to weight loss, unintentionally, I've been referred back to the clinic I used to go to. In the meantime my psychiatrist has recommended Olanzapine, which I questioned and waited nearly 3 week to take as I heard it can increase weight. The reassured me it might increase appetite so weight would only go up if a persons appetite and intake went up. Medication is new to me so I'm wondering if remron is something similar to olanzapine. I hope it's jelping you, good luck. I'm still just a little unsettled with new meds
