The strange thing with bipolar is..... u can recall most of the ills you did at ur episodes...mostly when maniac..i can recall lots of ills i did within 20 yrs ago, over a span consisting 3 relapses.. isnt mental breakdown supposed to be like u r on anaesthatic or fainting mood where the abnormalities committed shouldnt be able to be remembered?? are other mental conditions same as bipolar? ... where you know almost every embaracing moment u went through? after getting treated and recover fully?

I am diagnosed bipolar and always remember my episodes. I think people in depression and schizophrenia also remember. I don't think most people do forget actually. Are you diagnosed with bipolar? I see you are from Kenya, what is the Mental Health services like out there?

Thanks for ur reply, yes am from Kenya, the mental health system is wanting a lot with very few governmental health centers n drs providing the support needed by huge no.of patients. For the rich and good working class patient they have a medical cover to sponsor their private drs n psychologies appointmnts. But fo r the majority low and part of medium class they congest the very limited facilities mostly without costly mental drugs on the govt pharmacy shelves, to add on very limited no. Of mental drs n psychologists to attend a big blowing no. Of poor patients.
