Woke up after a brief sleep with a calm mind . Sometimes there's no noticeable inner dialogue or voices and you don't notice it till those odd periods of calm occur but your mind has been filled with noise nonetheless .

I get complete calm from looking at baby pictures, strangely enough. A cousin of mine had a baby born a few days ago and all the family has had a shed load of them via email, and things have been completely calm.

Pleased to hear those pictures calmed you. A thing that calmed me(made me spaced out) was doubling up on my procyclidine when I was taking it.

Swimming in the sea has the effect of making my mind quiet and calm.
And I know what you mean, it's not until you get that inner-quiet that you realise how full and busy your mind was before.
