Hi hicks!

Where are you from? I'm from America and in our society, we won't live a fufulling life unless we are "happy and successful". And I agree, success is subjective just like happiness.
I'm in the UK. I just think it's difficult to generalise as we all have different ideas about what a fulfilling life is. For some, getting married and having kids may be what they need. Others may want to get to the top in their career.

Yes, exactly what you said. Everyone wants something different, but society tells you otherwise and even makes you feel like a failure for not going along with the norm.
