there is a strange iron handrail thing
that is pushing the fence away from its post
and the neighbours fence to boot

the handrail is on my side
I cant afford to have it fixed
so I have to go back into the idea
of selling myself as a nurse for the addict in the family
which just wipes me out really

just when I was enjoying my independence from them !

using online resources like this
has given me emotional independence from them
which I'm very grateful for and proud of

how do you get your financial independence
when you're not well enough to work ?

I should get a quote first

before worrying how I'm going to pay for it !

I feel guilty getting the quote first
because I dont yet know if we've got the money

as if the builder has taken the time to come out
to do the quote ,
when I might not be able to hire him !

not sure if I can get it on insurance
as the tree stump probably has moved the hand rail
due to its roots

if I cant get it on insurance
its my responsibility to pay it
because I own a third of the property

having said that if I sell up I will get nothing
because DWP will make me pay my own benefits out of it !

thanks Midnight , I just saw the funny side
that I have not had it looked at by a builder
and I have not contacted the housing association
about their insurance

and already I'm thinking of how I can sell myself to my relatives !

I should have some time tomorrow
when I can make inquiries
hopefully without involving my relatives !

I got home from art class
and phoned the local builders merchant
to get some recommended builders / landscapers

Ive left messages with 2 numbers
and a letter to my neighbours saying I'm on the case

now I need to contact the housing association about it
to see about the insurance

all on my little tod !

the housing associations insurance company
has sent me a document about their policies
and it looks like they dont cover fences

and if they did I would have to contribute £250 anyway !

which is probably more than the repair would cost

Im procrastinating reading through the form

and may still need help from relatives
if the insurance cant help
