How do folk accept the bleakness of it all? Every time i flirt with thebidea of hope the wave of dread washes over me, almost paralysing me.

An example being as childish as it seems i have considered drawing from time to time but i am instantly hit with this blow to the gut, "stop, there is no f+#%in point you idiot, what are you, a 4 year old? shut up, put your little crayons away and lie there and wait for death". I hasten to add there are no voices but the feeling is soo real to the point i feel so angry just writing that...i am a f%@%ing idiot.

I understand that feeling all too well. I used to get it when in a major depression. Depression gives us tunnel vision so we can't see the bigger picture of all that is going on in our lives. Can you just draw and defy those thoughts? Draw your feelings. I used to do that and found it quite cathartic. I used them to show my pdoc how I was feeling too.

You are not being childish wanting to express yourself
