InMind in Hartlepool is an AQ (Any Qualified Provider) offering a number of services on behalf of and in partnership with the NHS.

The service is a community-based Primary Care Psychological Therapies service delivering a range of services to people with common mental health disorders at step 2 and 3. This service treats conditions that are covered by a traditional IAPT model, plus additional conditions where NICE guidance dictates, including:
Adjustment depression or anxiety in adults with a chronic physical health problem (e.g. chronic pain) or medically unexplained symptoms
Anger management
Bulimia nervosa
Generalised anxiety disorder
Health anxiety (hypochondriasis)
Mild learning disability or cognitive impairment
Mixed depression and anxiety
Obsessive-compulsive disorder
Other co-morbid mental health conditions (e.g. non-acute or stable psychosis) where anxiety or depression-related symptoms are present
Panic disorder
Personality disorder (not severe and where anxiety and depression related symptoms are present)
Phobias (including social anxiety disorder (social phobia))
Post-traumatic stress disorder

It is the ONLY free, self referral, out of hours, open access, support and information service for those 16+ suffering emotional distress/mental health problems in the Stockton area. Our friendly staff and volunteers are understanding and easy to get along with.

Meets on 3rd Wednesday of every month 6-8pm

If you live in Tees Valley or Durham (or from anywhere really!), you are very welcome to come along to any of our meetings.

Our meetings are friendly and informal. They are open to all adults who have had a diagnosis or are in the process of seeking a diagnosis of AD/HD and partners of adults with AD/HD.

Please come along and share your experiences and knowledge of AD/HD, find out about other help that is available and discuss useful techniques that minimise some of the difficulties that AD/HD can present. We also like to celebrate the positive aspects of living with AD/HD.
