hello! i have a traumatic brain injury due to a severe car accident in 2015, and if you add a TBI and mental illnesses, you get a huge mess. everything is amplified to about 5x the energy used to fight these thoughts, etc... i don't like to talk too much to people about my mental mess and how heavy it is after the TBI because i don't want it to seem like it's a competition about whose is worse... hopefully you guys on here can give me some advice about trying to get through this without blabbing it to everyone and/or having bad experiences all the time :panic:

I'm sorry you had an accident and your brain got traumatized. I got hit by a car when I was nine years old and my ability to keep choreography in my head disappeared. I had been in a dance class. Fast forward to my thirties and I'm suddenly very bipolar. So I can empathize with you.

I only had a concussion and I'm thinking you had something worse. I don't retain numbers and when people ask me to, I tell them I got hit by a car when I was a kid and now I don't remember numbers. I'm more secretive about the bipolar because people have sterotypical ideas about bipolar. A knock in the head they seem to understand.

yeah, severe on my back and neck. but i see a chiropractor for that! my knee caps were out of place and i am supposed to wear braces on them but i get contact dermatitis bad with them... i'm going to get something to cover the skin on my knees so i don't have that issue..... idk, like some knee compressor or something. now that i think about it i should call them rn from my desk

Yeah, I have pain in my buttocks and legs but not all the time. I'm suppose to do exercises/stretches for it but they hurt too.

I hope you get what you need for your knees.
