I'm on 20 mg of paxil, and have been for more than two years. I tried to get off of it last fall, but couldn't as it was too hard. It doesn't work for me like it used to, that's why I'm wanting to switch. Has anyone switched from paxil to lexapro? If so, was it an easy transition? My doctor told me to skip a day of paxil and then start the lexapro when I wanted to make the change. My dad passed away a week ago, so I'm going to ask my therapist next week first just to make sure it's okay to do, as I don't want to mess with my brain chemistry too much right now while I'm grieving and dealing with all these emotions. Thanks
