I've been there, too. It's such an isolating feeling, but the fact that you reached out on this forum is an amazing sign that you have hope and want support. That's not an easy thing to do, especially on a platform of strangers, but you did it and you are so brave for doing so.

Have you tried any type of treatment for your depression? Do you want to talk about what's going on with life?

Hi Loudpipes, I'm sorry your in such a bad place right now. It's difficulty to see any light at the end of the tunnel sometimes but there's always hope and there's always someone to talk to that will listen and be supportive. I hope you're in a better place soon.

What you are going through is not permanent. There will be better days for you. Create happy moments because happiness is a choice.

Music helps me. Music is therapeutic. Listen to good, uplifting and encouraging music on youtube.

Also, do what you love doing or what you are good at. It will do good to you and make you happy.

Yes, it's really hard. It's so hard to try to survive. But imagine; you are alive. It means you deserve it...
Look out the window, see the clouds, trees, and sun or moon. Smile, think about the positive ways! There are millions of details in this life. Smile for them, imagine...
Imagine your favorite season, your favorite food. The taste of it... The smells of new books, the sound of rain. The dogs when you feed them, petting a cat and feeling it's sounds... The next episode of your favorite series, redecorating your room, house. Buying new clothes and first wear of them. Writing with your pen, helping an elder person, hearing her/his "thank you" Watching the sunrise, and drinking a cup of coffee while watching it. Going to somewhere like a forest for a camp, playing online games with your friends. Going to beach for watching sunset... Ordering your favorite meal when you are so hungry.
Like, think about these! Realise the details... Life's secret codes are hidden in details...
