Bear in mind that No religion/mythology/system/form/path has a monopoly on the truth. All forms are fingers pointing to the moon, all concepts, ideas, theories, words are symbol, myth, analogy & metaphor.

Spiritual teachings are in essence Universal - whatever the tradition. Mystic; Gnostic, Sufi, Kabbalah, Shaman, Hermetic, Esoteric, Occult, etc etc etc, all contain Universal principles or pointing to the truth.

Many people get lost in all the myriad forms, the myriad teachings, the religions & dogmas.

Spirituality is formless, it is a state of Being, of Realisation, of Individuation. & No one can Realise it all for another, only point things out within the individual. It is about a Direct Experience of our own Truth & Being. It makes sense to drop all forms, identifications, definitions, attachments, & judgements. To drop all Ego, Beliefs & Fear. Realisation of Soul/'Conscious Spirit' is diametric to Egoic Identification.

I listened to a chunk of it last night, there are some things I quite like about Sufism.

Sufism is a form of mystical Islam, known among other things, for its dancing in the form of the whirling dervishes, as below:

In her song, Them Heavy People, Kate Bush sings (at about 1.44 mins into the video) 'I love the whirling of the dervishes...' :)

Thanks. I prefer the 'inner' dimensions to it, the quiet silence.
