Stupid things you're paranoid about

Do you have any stupid small stuff that you're paranoid about?

I keep getting the same bus driver on the way back from the hospital / on my way to work. He's really friendly! He always asks me where I'm going and I don't tell him I'm on my way to work (part time) in case he reports my disabled bus pass, even though it still has ages left to run and I'm not doing anything wrong - it's easier for me to think he has an ulterior motive than that he's being nice!

I actually try and avoid getting his bus sometimes so I don't have to explain myself.

Anyone else have anything silly they worry about?

I used to go swimming. For exercise and relaxation. One time I went swimming after work, and every time i surfaced to take a stroke, I would hear 'You're paranoid, you're paranoid'. It was severe voices. Voices telling me I am paranoid, whilst i am swimming. It was not pleasant.

I'm always generally paranoid about hearing the sounds of other people's thoughts or other voice hearers ,hearing the sound of my thoughts.. I find that the way my mind is setup , doesnt prevent this from causing mild-severe paranoia and it's something that I wish to improve upon.

I'm paranoid about someone hacking into my email account and deleting some or all of my emails.

I am constantly paronoyed I am being watched by inteligence agencies (such as the FBI)

everytime I see a van, or a car, or something that looks like it could possible belong to the FBI, I start pannicking and need to know who they are and what they are doing in the area.

I also worry that i'm going to be selected for jury duty. everytime the mail comes I'm always wondering if one of them is the letter in question

I get paranoid about people on public transport with me. If I see them checking their bags more than once or twice, I get 'convinced' that they are a terrorist.

I wish i wasnt so paranoid about feeling so conspicuous when I’m out and feeling that everyone is either looking at me or talking about the way I’m dressed

Almost too paranoid to even go into detail here but I have been trying to not let that stop me
I guess the dumbest thing that I've been scared about is feeling like this little figurine that someone gave me is tapped in some way even though I literally opened the packaging myself, it's just the feeling, if you know you know...

The biggest thing at the moment for me is being paranoid about people being nice to me - if someone is unusually nice to me I am pretty much guaranteed to suspect they have an ulterior motive.

Anyone from my friends to chatty strangers.

Don't even know if this is 'true' paranoia or just modern reality.

A bit of both maybe? Yeah the person who gave me the figurine, it felt extremely weird to me, out of character...I instantly thought this has got to be a joke right

I’m constantly paranoid that I’ll lose my job, and end up in a job I hate. I am paranoid about people in groups that glance at me and shut up when I get near.

I'm always paranoid someone will recognize me just by my writing.

I'm paranoid about public restrooms having unknown deadly diseases.

I'm paranoid about leaving my fingerprints even though I don't even have a criminal record and never had a ticket or even a warning.

I'm paranoid of being taken away to some secret location cause I know too much about certain conspiracies.

I don't think this counts as paranoid from a mental health perspective. It happens to me too a lot of time.
