Struggling with work

I'm struggling more and more with going to work every day. I just don't want to go, don't want to be there, so incredibly sick of it. Once my head gets into this space I find it very hard to get out. I've got another job to apply for (which I'm also finding hard, I'll try and finish it later) but I get absolutely nowhere with job applications and it's getting me down too, because I'm trying to change my situation and I just can't.
I don't know what to do. I don't have many options, it's not easy (virtually impossible) to take time off, although I was planning to take time off over the school holidays. However it would revolve around one person being able to cover me, and she's just said she might not continue working Saturdays (her only day, so if she's not working for us any more I assume she won't be wanting to cover holidays).
I feel very trapped.
I try and focus on the positive points, and remind myself of them through the day, but it's getting harder.
My head is screaming every day not to go, but I have to make myself.
I don't know what to do.

Is there any way to make your current position easier? Sometimes two heads etc. are better than just the one :)

Not really, the only thing would be if it were possible to work longer days but less of them. But that isn't possible. I know my boss would do anything to help if I spoke to her, but there's just nothing we can do as there's only the two of us working, so it's not worth making her worry that I'm not happy.

Boss isn't working tomorrow so I've got to work an extra hour, open up and close and work with someone different that I find awkward, plus he hardly knows what he's doing.
I just don't want to go in.
I don't need more reasons to not want to be there. It makes the positive thinking nearly impossible.
Work is feeling like "if I can just get to the end then I'm finished" but there is no end. Like stumbling that last mile of a marathon except it repeats over and over so you never reach the end.
