Spouse coping with DID?

Hello... I could use some advise if you have any. My DID diagnosis is relatively recent but I’ve been dealing with symptoms most my life. I was able to hide them and never told anyone until they got so bad I couldn’t hide it anymore. My spouse is really struggling with this and he treats me like I’m a ticking time bomb, even though I am the same person I’ve always been. I’m not sure even how to help myself much less help him. Any advice for helping a spouse cope?

I wish I knew. I’m in the same boat. My husband it’s coping very well either, which makes me shut down even more about what I’m going though.
