I'm so very sorry your struggling with feelings of inadequacy and not wanting to be here anymore.
Many of us have felt this way, I think if you can find an interest that you can work on it might help.
Art is very therapeutic as is music.

Thank you so much. I talked to my mom a lot and then went to bed. I still feel depressed today, but a little bit more calm. Thank you again. :hug:

I just feel like I'm not good at anything. I'm not smart or pretty or talented or independent. I feel like I just annoy people.

I'm sorry for posting this thread. I felt terrible last night. Talking to my mom helped me. I went to bed feeling very tired and depressed. I woke up feeling a little bit better. I'm really sorry for posting this thread I will try to work on getting better. Thank you everyone. Sending hugs.

Thank you so much. :hug: I agree. Today I'm doing a little bit better. I don't want to self harm or end my life, I just want things to improve.

You are good enough. It takes a long time to notice improvements on one's self. Just keep at it and do things that will reinforce how you want to feel. I sometimes feel like I'm not smart enough but i recently decided i would learn horticulture and hydroponics. You can get seeds at the dollar store and most things there so it's not really expensive. Here is the key though, you have to put in the work. I spent nearly 200 hours researching and you tube on the subject. My first grow in hydroponics was a success. Which helps reinforce good things but don't get a big head. Anyway, i could possibly fail next one but i will keep a journal and learn from it and try to troubleshoot the mistakes. Hope this helps

Thank you so much. :hug: I will try. There are so many things I want to learn and places I want to see in life. I just feel like my mental illness is stopping me from moving on.

Pick something that is attainable, pick teachers who are good hearted and know the subject you are learning. And don't expect success right away. If you don't do these things you could set yourself up for failure a never ending self pity downward spiral. You just got to keep picking yourself up and someday all the hard work and effort will pay off
