whatever it was it was enough to rattle the window
and wake the neighbours
who probably thought it was me making a noise

I hope it was a large bird
and not someone finding out where I live
nobody from here has my address though

I looked in the morning at the ground below
and no sign of anything unusual, bird or object

hopefully just a one off
because I will be keeping tabs on it

the young neighbours on one side
decided on a massive 2 hour war game blasting through the wall
for 2 hours tonight
they havent done that for ages

maybe they thought I woke them last night

Sorry to hear both parts of this. It might have been a bird or it could have been a bat or an idiot - people chuck stuff out of the windows in our block all the time (including food). It could have been a food carton thrown out of a car window that an animal has gotten stuck into during the night. Somebody might have been throwing something at somebody else then picked it up.

Second hand noise can be a real PITA when it is repetitive and goes on a long time. I have had gamers too. As long as I live I doubt I will ever forget living next door to that Spice Girls fan. In the end she got some Girlschool to chew on then she really new what girl power meant ☠🎸RIP Kelly Johnson.

hi Sunny

no I looked the next morning at the ground
and there was nothing there

hopefully it was just a bird and it was unharmed
unless it happens again

I didnt feel like going outside at that moment
in case there was someone there

Oh gosh that sounds terrible I'm having trouble with neighbours slamming windows and doors at the moment and on the odd occasion get woken with loud music:whistle:

I must have a really short sighted barn owl living near me.
Twice now it has crashed in to my window and has even nearly crashed in to the side of my car when I was driving up the road.
