Social Anxiety

Hi everyone,

I feel crippling social anxiety and constantly have negative thoughts about myself and how others view me even though I have friends. I find that my constant need for reassurance and my negativity are dragging others down and everyone ends up leaving me so everything I was anxious about comes true.

How can I stop this vicious cycle?

I know the story man. I'm trying to be better myself, but things that help are sports, alone time when I need some and if not I look for the presence of good friends. I just try to be less on edge and "be cooler" about stuff. But its hard, stay strong! Dont be too hard on yourself. :sherlock:

I have had this too. What helped me was talking to my friends about my insecurities and anxieties. I was so paranoid that they were getting fed up with me but after I explained how I felt I was pleased when they reassured me they love me and are there for me.
